After meeting with Mr Tan, our FYP accessor, we realized that we need to find another method to create a trapdoor besides providing username and password for the user. We were still contemplating whether to get the hardware, or carry on with our current plan which is to jam the network we are connected to.
The advice from Mr Tan is to come up with a viable option of scanning for the Wifi network, and right now our current operational flow is, once an administrator jams a network, all clients connected to the network will be jam, and the same flow applies to the unjamming portion. In practical range of having better flexibility in its range of Wifi jamming, Mr Tan offered us an option which might make our scanner, become more valuable, which is by lifting the restriction on the way the jamming and unjamming applies to all.
Mr Tan offered the idea of having the administrator to choose the Wifi to jam, and all clients will be jam in the process. For the unjamming process, administrative purpose give the admin the rights to choose which client to unjam instead. This easy way of flexibility gives our jammer an edge working on the platform for the jamming criteria to be successful.
